On A Greener Note…

Today, a late-July day, I couldn’t believe my eyes but all of a sudden it was rainy and then it started to HAIL! Yes, HAIL. For the longest time, it’s been raining and raining. Other countries have shown signs of heat fires while other places break records in rain downfall. I believe, this is a sign of global warming getting worse. I’m beginning a section on global warming, thus this would let my readers go to those websites to learn and be aware of our little mother earth. Please join me in helping our earth. Thanks.

Cute Finnish Ads

It so happens, I found two cute ads that were both Finnish and both advertising some sort of transportation. Take a look at the cuteness, I’m sure you’ll say, “Awww.” I just had to post these since they are both really cute and original, and not the ordinary type of ad.

A bit of history in salt and pepper shakers…

Occasionally when you’re out and about, you stop and check out something that you might not know what it is until you really take a closer look. Have you ever thought that salt and pepper shakers or even an egg holder could be a piece of art?

Stefano Giovannoni, who designs bold and fun cutlery has included a bit of Chinese history in his recent series of kitchenware. In collaboration with the National Palace Museum of Taiwan, he has created a mascotte for the museum as well as a whole series of gagdets that mimic people in the Chin Dynasty. Simple yet elegant and fun kitchen gadgets, that also stand as decoration is a brilliant way to make necessities just a bit more interesting on the counter.

Ohmm… Yoga Kitty…

Poor poor kitty… This yogakitty.com website shows this guru and his cat doing yoga together. Poor poor cat gets stretched and twisted. Strange as people are, I think people are getting some laughs out of it. Looks like the people who created the website are just out for some fun, well at least I don’t think they are serious about this whole kittyyoga thing? Take look…

Retro Glasses?

So I was surfing around today, and I found this retro website. I’m a big fan of the retro era, so the plan59.com website was almost a gem to find! The website displays a wide range of designs and styles from the 30-50s. Now here’s something I came across. Look at the Solerex advertisement from 1948.

Now look at the picture from my photobooth collection. Don’t they look similar? Hmm…
