A bit of history in salt and pepper shakers…

Occasionally when you’re out and about, you stop and check out something that you might not know what it is until you really take a closer look. Have you ever thought that salt and pepper shakers or even an egg holder could be a piece of art?

Stefano Giovannoni, who designs bold and fun cutlery has included a bit of Chinese history in his recent series of kitchenware. In collaboration with the National Palace Museum of Taiwan, he has created a mascotte for the museum as well as a whole series of gagdets that mimic people in the Chin Dynasty.
